Fresh Salsa

Simple, easy and fresh, this is a basic recipe you can play with to create your own home made salsas.

In a Vitamix/Blender/Food Processor combine:

  • 6 Tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup onion

  • 1 large or two medium garlic cloves

  • A handful of cilantro (around 1/2 cup--see video)

  • 1/2 Tbsp oregano (dried or fresh)

  • Cumin--I use roughly 10 shakes of the dried cumin seasoning (again, see video)

  • Paprika (about 12 shakes of it)

  • 1/2 to 1 Tbsp salt depending on how salty you like things to be

Blend everything together. The picture on this page is what it look like once blended.

To make spicier add your own version of spice---serrano, jalapeño, or green chile are things we have used.
